such a mediocre conference should have a tie-in with the Independence Bowl or something. Let the Big East runner-up have the Sugar Bowl bid.

the SEC would DESTROY the Big-LEAST...wheres Rutgers,SFla,Lousiville? come on now...the Big LEAST is like the number 8-9 power ranked conferce behind ACC MAC and Mountain West Notre Dame would be 10-2 in the Big -LEAST....

they absolutely will and should...i'm from the northeast and am not biased towards one conference or another whatsoever, but the SEC is jam-packed with talent and is so tough and balanced that those teams just beat the crap out of each other...how bout LSU and Arkansas going into triple-OT before the #1 team goes down, then the next night Kentucky and Tennessee go into 4 overtimes before the winner is decided...plus I'm convinced that Florida could still beat any Big East team outside of West Virginia easily...but UF and WVU would be a good matchup

Yes, it wouldn't be fair if they didn't. They are just like every other major conference, they have a great out of conference record and beat each other up when they play conference games.
