there is a rule of thumb, the smaller the sandwuch the sweeter the drink...the larger the sandwich the heartier the drink.
A cucumber sandwich=ice tea,
tuna salad on white no crust=lemon aid
a medium size sandwich calls for a medium size drink,
Ham and cheese= milk or soda,
a hot dog=rootbeer,
a big sandwich calls for a man size drink.... a Hero =Beer, Club =Coffee...
a hot open sandwich = cheap wine...
BLT on a roll with mayo.=Champagne

San Pellegrino or some other mineral/sparkling water.
It's refreshing and cleanses the pallet without interfering with the flavor of the sandwich.
