Ever since I've seen the strands of led lights I've been looking for a pre-lit led tree. I don't want a fiber optic tree just a tree with strands of led lights. Do they make those? If not can I buy led bulbs and replace all of the pre-lit normal bulbs? I love the look of the led lights but hate stringing them myself. Thanks.

These are not available - yet (as prelit). What I would do is buy an unlit tree and then strap the strands as you see fit. Then, you only do it once and the LEDs will give you the effect you want. This is how I made a "prelit" tree before prelit trees were the rage.

Just use small black tie wraps and you will be set. Keep the strands on each segment so that all you have to do is plug them in together as you assemble the tree.

You will not be able to replace the incandescent bulbs with the LEDs as LEDs do not use the same voltages as incandescents.

Wait until after Christmas to purchase your LEDs as they will be on sale.
