do they have insurance? therapists are covered by good insurance. if they don't have it and they go to an actual psychiatrist then they tend to make upwards of $100-$150 and even more an hour. if they wanted help/someone to talk to for free, they could go to a church counselor. if YOU want someone to talk to while all this is going on, and they won't pay for therapy for you, you can go to your school counselor or also a church counselor, priest, etc.

It varies with every counsellor like lawyers but really about
50-100 dollars per hr. Really though if both parties are not willing to pay or go to therapy it would be a waste of money. if your parents want some free help gewt them to talk to a church minister or someone that is close with God. Sometimes counsellors will charge a couple what they can afford. Really though your parents have to ready for counselling. Depending on how long this has been going on
it may be too late to work on it talk to your parents. There is no reason you can't research local counsellors and get some prices then give a list to them.
If they see how much you are worried about them maybe that will make up their minds for them.
God Bless and Best Wishes.

Depends. Some services are provided on a sliding fee scale - the 'rents would have to visit the office and speak to the office manager to determine whether or not they qualify for assistance paying for counseling. And quite often, the pastor of one's church, if qualified, will offer said council for free or at a very reduced rate. Make d(a)mn sure the pastor IS qualified - many, if not most, aren't.

They have to want to try counseling for it to work. Sometimes counseling is covered under health insurance, some therapists will take payments based on how much money they earn, otherwise it's a flat fee per hour and it depends on the counselor.

If they have health insurance, it can be covered. The price depends on the price of their copays.
