I suppose I'm a Libertarian. I agree with Democrats on social issues and Republicans on economic issues.

I'm a Republican, staunch Republican at that. I used to be apolitical until I joined the Army in 1976. Then I watched the Democrats do everything they could to lose the Cold War.
Now they are trying to hand Al Qaeda the victory.
The Democrats don't stand for freedom, if anything they take freedom and choices away by regulating everything they can.
On top of being traitors, they are a bunch of control freaks.
I'll stand by the Republicans even if they do have a problem with me marrying my boyfriend. At least I know my country is safe in their hands.

I used to be a staunch Republican, but they have strayed so far from their portrayed values that you now can't tell the two parties apart, and just having two major parties is a big problem. It is so difficult for anyone outside of the two parties to even get on the ballot. If I were to affiliate with any party, it would be the Constitution party simply because they want this country to run according to the constitution the way it was meant to.

I'm a conservative trapped in the Republican party only because there isn't a more conservative main stream party. Both parties are run by special interests, but at least some of the republicans have morals and believe in the little guy.

I am a Independent, but I lean left on most issues.
I grew up a Democrat, and I side with them on most issues, but did not like Al Gore's running mate in 2000, so I voted for the Independent Candidate that year (Ralph Nader) and I have been Independent ever since.
I will vote for the Democrat Nominee this election. We have to get the Republicans out of office.

I am a member of the Druid Party, we believe in voting only once every 1000 years! Which gives us loads of time for campaigning! Our mascot is Father Time and our motto is why rush things! Our platform is we will outlast all other parties without trying! When your as old as the hills you have fewer choices to worry about!

Not affiliated with any party.
I think both major parties are too influenced by the extremist fringe within their party.
The minor parties tend to be either more extreme, or too single issue oriented for me.

I'm a republican because I believe smaller government will give me more freedom and more choices. I hate taxes and I believe people should be more responsible for their own choices and not expect me to pick up the tab for their mistakes. I believe in a strong military, God, and country.
