I'm the only one of my friends who likes these guys, which normally wouldn't matter, but I wanted some other opinions on these guys.

I love My Chemical Romance, but I've noticed the same thing with all of the answers to every question like your's. The people who say they don't like them are all saying the same thing: They have dark lyrics and their music is depressing. That's not true. All of the lyrics have an underlying meaning and that underlying meaning can be different for everybody, it doesn't have to be dark and hateful. They're interpreting wrong. And second, the people who say yay I like them, only really like the big singles that are more mainstream than the rest of their music. That's what I don't like about these debates about bands. There are so many posers out there answering, when they're not all that into what the band's/lyrics are about, but rather the beat. It's a hassle for true fans, but we have to deal with it. But I LOVE MCR. They don't make me feel depressed. I actually brighten up when I hear their music. ;)

You can relate to them really well. They are all very talented performers. Gerard writes lyrics that give the message to love and be fair. They've had to overcome all this crap to really become who they are today, and they're out and about spreading that message to the rest of us. They are all the most wonderful people I've ever known. They're truly beautiful, inside and out.

I like their music, but I'm not much of a fan of their look. I like that guys voice though so yay, their music is good.

alot of my friends actually like this band, but i was the one that introduced them to it XD
well, to support my claim:
their lyrics are really meaningful & you can relate to them.
they are really good live.
they are inspirational.
and to top it all off, Gee and Frankie are EXTREMELY HOTT!<3
haha, i remember when i was scared of how they looked. (i was 11 and extremely sheltered when my cousin first introduced me to them xD) lol.

I like Summer of my black parade and Teenagers. So kinda yay I guess. I don't give a heck if people are emo or not as long as they don't cut themselves.
