You can find a gingerbread house pattern in the premier issue of Leisure Arts Plastic Canvas Corner (oop...copyright 1989). Also by Leisure Arts is "More Christmas Projects for Plastic Canvas"...leaflet 194. I have both and am currently making the one from the leaflet. Both patterns have removeable roofs to where you can put things in there such as candy & etc. The roof on both are either the same or very similar. The magazine pattern has separate pieces that you stitch and attach to the house. The leaflet's pattern has the candy & etc. already stitched into the pattern. You can find one or both on eBay &/or bidville.com. I know that there are more gingerbread house patterns but I don't know who all has them. Just search the auction sites and you'll find them.

I tried to find some free patterns, but no luck. There are plenty of sites that have them for sale, including a bunch from e-bay. Just google what you asked for, and a bunch will come up. Hope this helps.

I don't know where to find free ones, but I have seen this type of pattern for sale at Mary Maxim or Annie's Attic. They both have websites you can search. I get paper catalogues from both of them and can't ever remember what I saw in each one. I know I saw it in one of them, however.
