In my country is Monday, but here i the US seems to be Sunday. WHY?!

Technically IT IS Monday, because that is the START of the WORK week, but in all reality it is Sunday, because at the END of the week God said let there be REST, hence the START of the week

It might have to do with most payrolls starting on Sunday. For instance, if you work a 7 day a week job, the last day of your week would be Saturday and on Sunday, you would start a new pay week.

I'm Jewish and the first day of the week for us is Sunday... which technically begins on Saturday after sundown! (confused yet?)
