If it were directed at a known threat, enemy or potential enemy then, fine.

As far as using it on the general public, I find that to be extremely paranoid and a violation of a citizen's privacy.

It really doesn't matter though; they're going to do as they please because they know that they can.

Perhaps the better question here is "How long are we going to put up with their tyranny?"

Government surveillance and control is the beginning of a hedonistic dictatorship wherein the people are subject to the whim of the leadership. It marks the very first step in the formation of a police state where citizens are presumed guilty until proven innocent. -RKO- 11/24/07

Only if they will let themselves be under surveillance and control by those they are surveilling and controling.
Otherwise, I would say I do not like it or want it.
It is not the freedom that was fought for.

Personally it wouldn't bother me even a little bit because I abide by the law, am not a terrorist, don't seek to try and overthrow the government, etc.,.

I'm almost afraid to answer this because I fear governmental retribution for it. How's that?

I'm for it. If you're a terrorist, you're on the s.h.i.t. end if a stick, if not, you're not going to know that your privacy is invaded (except if you hear a ****), then you're phucked!
