Ok, so somehow, I can no longer select a wallpaper for my desktop. I have tried going into the display setting on the control panel. Within these settings it won't let me scroll down and select to picture. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

i don't really know about that, but you can also go on the internet to find a wallpaper, a good way to find one would be to go to google images and find a wallpaper that is the shape of your desktop, get the image as large as it can get, then right-click and scroll to "set as desktop background"

Hi. There are many sites that will set a wallpaper for you and they are MUCH nicer than the stock wallpapers. One example http://www.desktopexchange.com/ . Others are here http://www.desktopexchange.com/ Try them and see if this meets your needs and taste.

Right click on desktop.
Click properties.
Click desktop.
select Pic.

You might also try to download a registry cleaner and try cleaning the registry.
