No one can say for sure but consider this. There is so much science that we as earthlings don't know. In terms of our science, light speed is impossible, but is it? We claim to be the most intelligent form of life in the universe, but are we? Recorded history is less than 6000 years yet the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. And in all that time our technology has only allowed us to radio wave the heavens for a minuscule 50 years.

Frankly, we know nothing about the universe around us and to say unequivocally that there is no extra terrestrial life in the universe is absurd.

Until someone can prove that there is NO life out there, I will always believe that there is. And it's very possible that once upon a time they came for a visit.

Although it is most likely that extra terrestrial beings exist, it is not likely they have visited our planet in the past.
Currently I don't believe they are visiting. Possibly viewing, but not visiting.
Essentially, aliens (or universal foreign invaders) would have to be centuries beyond our intellect and knowledge with a society that has already gathered enough energy for time travel (to travel at light speed). It's a very complicated subject and something you should talk about one-on-one with an astronomer or scientist if you are truly interested.
Also keep in mind that humans have come up with ideas to explain the unknown and based on their fears. This also has to do with creation theories and death.

Best of luck.

We've been hearing rumors of alien visiations and even their presence here on earth now. I don't believe that, but more importantly, if they're here, they're pretty easy to get along with, so I don't mind.

well if there is extra terrestrial beings there would be more then one other planet with life on it. So realistically there is probably some where more interesting to go then here. so I would say no they have not been here.

No.
There is no scientific evidence. No tangible, testable, observable proof of extraterrestrials visiting Earth now (or in the past).

duh..i'm one...yes why not...and why do people need real hard proof..maybe the aliens cant make an appearance or show proof out of fear..or maybe they are here just to observe..how many people believe there is a god, but yet have never seen him or spoke to him..do people really thing that out of all the thousands of planets that we are alone...not a chance...whose to say there isnt time travel...

Since there's no credible evidence they are, I'm leaning towards "absolutely not".
