I did on Friday when I was shoppin. Since that was a good deed, does that cross out my bad deed for that day?

nooooo I can't tell my bad deed for that day. But, I do try and do a bad deed at least twice a week. hoping to get on the naughty list ;)

I call that my good deed of the day when I go to the store and donate. All year long there is a guy at the local K-Mart with a sign help feed the homeless. I may stop in there once a month and will put $10.00 in his bucket.

Are you referring to the Salvation Army or Red Cross.
well those are two Great association even the ones whom
work this do not get paid,, you would call them sort of Mercy
Angels as if something in its place for a purpose,,
as you Child no reason to even think about it what ever made you think it was a hand out even an orphan in the street has
a Job kind of makes you feel good its not you working as hard
as in Serves well Reserved Good for you,,,that was a real
SMILE,!! goes to show nothing is realIy BAD,,,if you have HOPE,!!

Good deeds do not cross out bad deeds. Good deeds will only score you points in God's book if they were from the heart. You can still do good deeds, but they don't mean anything, because they're out of selfish intentions. Bad deeds always count, because they are sins.

thats what i think. i gave to some motorcycle group that gives the toys to the needy. so i think that was a good deed. i just need to do about 15 more deeds just to cross out the bad things i did today.

No but the other day i was about to leave the store and the wind was blowing hard and just as I stepped out his sign blew down in front of me..Making a loud racket..scared the pee outta me. I hollered and said s...to myself..LOL Almost had a heart attack right there..I havent pitched any money in the pot yet..maybe next time.

one good deed does not erase any bad deeds
if you've done something immoral or unethical then you need to make reparations for that deed and not try alleviate your conscience by dropping some coins in a charity jar

I give what I can when I can. The lord said ' Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers, you do unto me.' I don't know if it cancels out your bad deed, but it will probably make you feel better about yourself.

I did.. AND I sponsor 15 kids every year for Christmas. I buy an age appropriate gift for each one. I pick girls and boys between 9 and 16 as that is the age group most people don't want to buy for.

yes I have as I always do even when I know that it won't take away my naughty deed as I have them everyday. So I guess that I am on that naughty list and Santa isn't going to bring me any gifts this year. ( boo hoo )
