Because cosmic statements are about intangible things, you can touch wet paint, and then complain that it's wet and then wipe your hand on your trousers, then complain about getting paint all over yourself, then look like a complete fool for not reading the sign (it will look like you didn't), and then look even more foolish for gettin paint all over yourself, and everyone will laugh at you. It's much safer to look up at the night sky and wonder than to be an idiot on earth : 0 )

heh. Well i don't want to spend my time counting all the shiny dots in the sky, then lose count at 999, 999, 999
but to answer your question, people just automatically believe what people say, because those kind of things can't be literally proved, and you'd think that someone who researches it would know better than yourself. But if it's something you can go out and prove, you sure as heck will do it, even if it means turning into a blue man

Wet paint is tangible. It is too tempting to pass it by. I once read a button in a hospital and had to take a picture of it with my cell phone. It was a rather large square button with the words..."do not push" on it. Common now!

I have control over touching the paint. I do not have any control over how many stars that there are.

Philosophy section is about heavy questions, why are you in this section, if you don't want heavy questions??? You alway participate in something more frivolous and you more to your liking.
