John Lennon and Paul McCartney formed the greatest writing duo in history and wrote most of the songs for The Beatles. Usually, however, whoever sang lead on Lennon-McCartney compostitions usually meant that they wrote more of that particular song (or they wrote it all).On their albums most of the songs were written by them w/ the other Beatles writing a few songs. George wrote a few songs for each album. Some of George's most memorable songs include:

- Here Comes The Sun
- Something
- Within You Without You
- While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Ringo Starr wrote "Octopus's Garden" on the Abbey Road album.

I hope that helps you! ;D

Mostly all of the songs were written by Lennon/McCartney because the two bounced off eachother's ideas.
