1st, locate the power source and disconnect it. Once there is no power going to the hood you can start removing it. Look under the hood for some mounting screws, they will be in out of the way areas under the hood, get someone to hold the hood while you remove the screws. Once the hood is free you will have to disconnect the wiring. There may also be a connection to the vent pipe that will have to be disconnected.

a screw driver and kill the power first then untwist the wire then cap them off.
