The question is what do you want to do?
1. Share a broadband connection (cable or DSL) with several computers using hardwired (cabled) Ethernet connections? _ Yup - It will do fine
2. Share a broadband connection (cable or DSL) with several computers using Wireless Ethernet connections? _ Nope - It's not a wireless router
3. Expand an existing network to allow more hard wire connections? - Nope - You need to use a SWITCH. Using 2 routers on a single subnet is a BIG no no

It's called a router and it allows up to 4 PCs to share an internet connection using Ethernet cables. It's not a wireless router.

So, if that's what you are trying to do, go for it.
