Usually only the top 25 are listed because its the good teams that people are concerned about. All are ranked. People don't brag about being #119 in the nation.

All 119 college teams are given a standing from 1 to 119. Only the top 25 of them are ranked.

This would take up to 25. But if you are looking for bowls games for which teams will play in will be ranked between 1-50.

every team is ranked if they play football. they only show the top 25 or the top 15 in the bcs poll.
