"Hem and stuff?" Please clarify. What stuffing and garment hems are you referring?

What do you mean, what happens to them?
They live, give birth, eat, and sleep just like animals anywhere else.
Of course, with global warming melting glaciers more quickly than normal, those animals will have to find new homes, learn to adapt to a different environment, or die off.

They live, eat, sleep, breed, and die, just like animals living far away from glaciers.
