Last December I wanted to get on Birth Control (the first form used outside of a condom) so my gyno put me on loestrin 24 (taken faithfully every morning same time), I was on that for about 5 months and I never got a period, so my qyno switched me to yasmin. I have been on that faithfully ( Every morning, same time) since May. My husband and I had sex today and the condon (which was treated with spermicide) slipped off and he wound up finishing inside of me. This is the first time something like that has happened to me. Do I have any reason to be scared, or am I just worrying over nothing? (I got my period last Wednesday - the Wed. BEFORE Thanksgiving Eve.)

I'm not sure which part you would be scared about? Being pregnant at all? Or being pregnant while on birth control?

You are probably fine if you are continuing to take your pill faithfully, and since you ust finished up your cycle.
Why did they switch you? I have been on Loestrin for years and od not have a period and my doc said that is fine. I love not having a period! And each time I went off it I had no trouble getting pregnant so it didn't mess up my cycles or anything.

As long as you have taken your pill faithfully, like you said you are fine. Just relax. They say that the pill is very effective which I have found to believe myself. You could actually get pregnant with any type of birthcontrol including a condom, the chances are just slim to none. You are stressing.

You take birth control regularly and you used a condom with a spermacide. You dont have anything to worry about. Even if the condom slipped off, the spermacide is added protection with the 99.9% protection of your birth control. Relax.....

with differnt forms of birthcontrol your body reacts differntly.
(such as if you get your period or not
how long your period last
if you get crams or not
if you gain weight or lose weight upon starting them ect.)
there still just as effective,no worries!
the olny worry you could possibly have about him 'finnishing' inside you would be STDs,but since your married im guessing youve covered that base already.
if on some chance you did concive it was a work of god
maricals happen in strange ways,if he decides your reddy you have no choice but to abide!good luck in your relationship durring this holliday season!
