If you're speaking of 98% of the music that gets crazy airplay on BET and the radio today... then I agree.
The reason why it's like this is because people don't look at rap (and hip hop) as an art form anymore. It's turned from a form of self expression to a watered down, commercialized gold mine. There's still some good stuff out there, but you won't see it on TV.

rap does not suck sum ppl think its just about drugs money and women but it's not sum songs are dances some have real meaning like a song that has real meaning listen to hurricane chris getting money it talks about his struggle and his life as a child u might like it
