Have you ever been in Lambeau Field in December in a playoff game seeing Favre tearing up defenses?

I have personally held a Canadian football, an English rugby ball, and an American soccer ball in my very own hands. Each one felt and smelled like it should have, although I didn't spend much time smelling any of them. I spent more time carrying and kicking them, whichever was appropriate. By the way, what's the NFL?

Long time ago. Nope, don't remember the smell. I remember that it was a pretty fall day in Maryland, though. Thanksgiving. Lots of family. 1973, I believe. Uncles and aunts (they were bona fide hippies) and my parents, siblings, and I all played a friendly game of football in our back yard...

Used to sell NFL memorabilia. A Joe Montana signed ball comes to mind (new, not a game ball). Smelled like a sports store football with a hint of silver ink.
No trace of Joe. Threw nice though.

I went to a steelers game, and my dad's friend was a ref and we got to go down, and manning and i were throwing the ball back and forth.
Was a one in a life time thing.
The ball smelt like grass to me :)
