good question!
if you mean memory like changes in the past to our DNA will persist to us, then yes.

if you mean memories like thoughts about what's happened, then no. the DNA of humans does not differ enough amongst us for that to happen.

instincts can be programmed into the genes. more complex animals learn some of them by watching and imitating

I don't know about that, but then again, anything is possible. Another possibility is that unless we learn everything we're suppose to, we'll keep coming back to this place until we learn it. You know how some people, even some young-ins, seem like "old souls?" Maybe they've been here before? Perhaps those "memories" you're talking about could be your own...from a previous time?

It's called a blood memory, and yes I do. Believe it, lol.

I feel very connected to my family in the Philippines, and I and really connected to there. Same for Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

um, this question makes me wonder. i wouldn't say memories but more instinct in regards to animals. yeah, i would say something is built in their genetics. i wouldn't know how to explain. i don't even think i could. in regards to people, i guess it could also be applied. i don't know. this is a pretty deep question that requires more knowledge then i have.

*princess has an interesting answer. hmm, i went someplace completely different. i see her point though.

Quite possibly not a stupid question at all.

Yup...this question I can't answer, but it hit me like a rock...

You've played Assassin's creed ...Yup...

That weird doctor dude asked the same question in the beginning and it made me think. I believe in ways we have to...lets us know who we are...

Also...I love that game already...I hate those Templars though.

Good luck!!
