I have 127 GB of free space on my hard disk. Is that a lot of space for general computing? (using internet broswer and rading E-mail and creating word documents)

In general, yes. 20 GB or even 15 GB is enough free space for almost anything that I can think of.

If all you are doing with your computer is emails, word processing, music listening, and light gaming, yes, 127 gb is MORE than enough space. The only time that I can think of needing more is if you intend to use your computer for movie editing or music editing. These two activities can take up enormous amounts of free space due to the various things needed by the programs involved. Obviously, however, this is not general computing.

Memory is RAM and a hard drive is Storage. Two different things. You have enough storage to save data, but how fast you will be able to do that depends on how much memory you have. 1 gb minimum is best.
