Most phones come with the cable you need:-

A usb cable (or a bluetooth dongle for the pc) plus the connection software (sometime it's just drivers) from either the cd that came with the phone, or download them from the manufacturers website.

Plug the cable into pc and phone, then follow the instruction that came with the phone.

NOTE:
If you use Vista, don't get a bluetooth dongle UNLESS it says Vista Drives included. Most won't work with vista.

What i did was email the pictures to my email. Like send in message and when it asks where put in your email address. Unless your phone can't do that. Then I don't know how to help you there.

usually through a usb cord, but sometimes on the phone itself there is an option to send it to your wireless provider online account (verizon wireless for example has an online resource center thing called pix place where you upload the pics directly from your phone then log in and they're on the comp)
