Kate and Gerry McCann obviously have access to the internet. My question is this, If they ever come on this site, which I doubt they do, do you think they are really gonna be hurt by peoples comments, because i know i would be. I know they should never have left the children alone but, all the parents did the same thing that evening. Yeah they should be repremandeded and have a record for child neglect. For Gods sake let's just let them greive in peace.

I think madeline is the one whos paid the price for their mistake,
and they will never forgive themselves for that, I cant even think of how much pain they are in , and I am so sad for that poor girl , truly terrible.

but it should at least be a lesson to anyone else thinking of leaving a child alone, even for a second .!

there are other risks to have considered too, like fire , one of them choking on something , wakeing up and just hurting them selves . even just wakeing up scared , crying for 3o mins till you go to check again , how tramitising .... as parents we know the risks.... and you dont take risks with what most precious to you .

its not the first time a child has gone before or died from as little as taking your eye of them for a second to stupidly leaving them alone .

I dont understand by what you mean by all the parents did the same thing ?

all ??

but for the sake of 10 quid on a babysitting service , there hardly skint they both had very good jobs .

I always think Im over parinoid about my 2 , wrap them up a bit , my boy plays outside - Im a bag of nerves till hes in, and yet the whole time im pressed up against the kitchen window watching him to see hes ok.
I couldnt bring myself to go to the shop s and leave them let alone, in a hotel even if I was across the road !! ,
I wouldnt leave them in bed at home and go to my neighbours opostite and have a cupa while watching my house from her window ... and that would be closer than the restaraunt they were eating in to the hotel.
I just dont understand what posseded them , especially , unlocked and with 2 even younger toddlers in there than maddy .

but then i read the madaline story and am glad to be parinoid.

They don't have to come on this site to realize how many people are against them, they just have to see any opinion poll in any newspaper that's carried the story anywhere in the world!. They surely must realize they'll always be regarded as guilty in the eyes of the majority regardless of wether they are charged with anything or not. Most people maybe would have had a different opinion if they had -1: assisted the PJ instead of refusing to answer crucial questions. 2: showed some emotion. 3: didn't use money donated by the general public in good faith for to pay the mortgage on their £600,000 home.
That is just a few of the many reasons why people don't think they deserve to be left in peace.

This leaving children isn't a new thing, years ago when i was a child,we used to go to butlins every year,in the ballroom was a great huge board that had all the chalet numbers on,when a child was crying the walker(who went round the chalets every 30 minutes)would light up the number on the board and it would flash...child crying in chalet 30 ,or wherever.

The Mark Warner site apparently discourages people from taking children to the restaurants at night, some people who have stayed there have said so on here.

Its gone on for years and years.

Totally agree with you. The level of abuse that I read on this site is a disgrace. Sometimes I will put on mildly suggestive, semi-humorous postings and get reprimanded; the people who think it is humorous to put on content that mocks the McCanns are a disgrace. If anyone should receive a reprimand, it should be these people!

They should be left as the various justice systems see fit. What really happened is between them and God as they purport to be religious people. I just hope that their collective conscience is clear.

I think that Kate and Gerry are so hard that nothing would upset them or spoil the lifestyle they have become accustomed to

I think they have suffered enough! Today a paper suggested that Kate could serve 10 years in prison for neglect. In this case everyone at that dinner who left their kids should also serve 10 years.
If prison is really all about rehabilitation, then I'm sure the whole experience has already served to rehabilitate them.

Personally I don't care if they are 'hurt' or not! And since all the 'McCann's' are bothered about is their own guilt ridden necks, I'm sure they will value your support...

As for 'reprimanded', yeah that just about sums up the value of 'their daughter'... As for 'grief' the only 'grief' I have witnessed is their continuous protests of innocence because the 'majority' of people despise them for their lies and cover up and under hand tactics!

Controversial yes, peace no, they will never find this until they start telling the truth...........
