SHAN,\
Had a wonderful day and hope you and your family did too. I did the cooking for me and a 75 y/o neighbor who has no family. We did/t exchange gifts but we had some good conversation and watched a football game.

It all turned out well. All the kids and their kids were there along with my sister-in-law and her group.
There was a moment when my youngest did a piece before we ate. It covered the members of the family that could not be there. The ones that had passed. We all had a good cry. It was a very.. no it was a great day.

Yes, a good Thanksgiving. We don't exchange presents. Today I made Christmas cookies with my grandsons. I'm enjoying this start to the holiday season.

I had one of my best Thanksgivings ever, thank you for asking. We don't give presents out, but being with family is the best gift I could ever get. My daughter was here and my husband's sister and brother and their families. There were 14 of us and we went out to eat. Then we came back to our house and looked at photos and watched old videos and LAUGHED at ourselves! The guys passed around a football and the kids played with our dog. It was a wonderful, blessed day!

Well the food was great but along in the evening my brother had symptoms of a heart attack. We have been in and out of the hospital since then. His blood work showed no sign of heart attack but he does have a mass in his left lung. He will be transferred to the VA hospital on Monday for any surgery that he might need. For once in my life I am praying for pneumonia.
Sorry I am sure you did not want to hear this. :((

I had a GREAT thanksgiving. My daughter and her family hosted this year,in their new(old) house, and we had almost all my favorite relatives there!
I didn't have to cook, and I got to spend time with people I love dearly.
there were NO hiccups, except I have caught my grandson's daycare cold, lol

It was a great day. Mom in law and her beau came over and we went out to eat. Then they went home to take their naps. And we took ours.
