No. It wasn't. Why do you ask?

Was Gore's campaign a fraud? A majority of the folks in charge of the voting systems in Florida were democrats, and no ballots of military personnel were ever counted in either the '2000 or '2004 campaigns?

Why did the Gore campaign select only losing districts, if the same "mistakes" using the same systems, could have been made state wide?

According to the US Supreme Court everything was done properly. Since the Supreme Court has the right under our Constitution to determine such questions, legally it was not a fraud. However, I think that decision was terribly wrong. They should not have put a tight deadline on when the relevant Florida votes needed to be recounted. For something as important as who is going to become the president of the United States, it's my opinion that allowing a few extra days to determine who the people really elected as president would have been the logical decision.

No, but in places like Florida strong evidence suggests that there was at least some foul play in scrubbing certain voters (minorities) off of voting rolls.

Noone ever complains that if all of the registered Democrats voted for Gore he would have won. They made such a big deal about Nader "stealing" his votes - why did thousands of registered Democrats vote for Nader instead of Gore?

If we had instant-runoff voting, there would not have been controversy, and Gore would have won.

yes! the electoral college should be destroyed as it is a symbol of total corruption. ONLY THE PEOPLES VOTES SHOULD COUNT IN A SOCIETY WHOS CONSTITUTIONS' FIRST THREE WORDS ARE..... "WE THE PEOPLE"..... NO IFS... ANDS ...OR BUTS!!!!!!!!! WE THE PEOPLE should be voting on all laws passed in this country. not an elected group of wealthy self serving bought off corrupt maggots!! let OUR SERVANTS write the laws and put them all to a vote by the people. NOT there own self serving interests. if taxation itself were PROPERLY imposed I firmly believe this country would have no financial problems whatsoever! but the rich stay rich and the rest of us pay and pay!

no the poltical claims of the pelosi reid regime were to mask the liberal return to power. george bush was lawfully elected twice and despite the do overs and the whine from the miami dade liberals, ignorance of how to vote wont change the resutls of history.

No. Al Sore was a gore loser... I mean, Al Gore was a sore loser.

In 1992, Clinton LOST the popular vote and ONLY won by the electoral vote. The same whiny babies who complained about popular vote versus electoral vote in 2000 were much quieter in 1992. Hmm... wonder why that was.

Well; The guy who got the most votes - Nationwide AND IN Florida - Didn't win; And the Supreme Court decided the election along party lines - Does that answer your question?

Uhhhh, yes....I thought that was already established. He's almost out of office....hold on till then. Think about it....took them a long time to "count" the votes while his brother and the secretary of state (I guess that's who it was) planned a scheme to make him the winner.....later giving her a job promotion. Sounds fishy, but the last 8 years have been fishy. I'm ready for some steak!
