I think Reagan made our nation look weaker than we have ever looked before by negotiating with terrorists. Reagan had Osama trained at that point in time. That was when, in my opinion, the U.S. war against terrorism really began. Can anyone prove me wrong?

Wow that's a stretch equating our current situation with President Reagan. Sure he supported Osama then, Osama was fighting the Soviet Union, which was a much larger fish to fry.
If you remember, it was President Carter who ordered the Marines in the Tehran embassy to surrender without firing a shot in their defence. Somehow, that just looks like it makes us look really weak. Ya think?

Probably, but if the security council members(all of them) weren't arming radicals as freedom fighters for the past 50 years, we wouldn't have to worry about them having resources.
Which does included Reagan arming both Iranian terrorists and Saddam Hussein.

It's possible that that may have shown an initial weakness on the part of the USA. However Clinton's lack of response to multiple terrorist attacks on America and American interests was probably a much bigger factor.
