When I was little girl I was always thinking that your future is already desided by God..Now I think another way. I think that your future depends on your belief in it. You know, sometimes I feel sad and dont want anything... Life seems worthless for me,it seems like nobody cares about me and I dont see the sense of my life. Everyday is the same routine. It passes a week, two weeks... I still dont see any good changes in my life. But then I think: " Why I'm so sad, why I think nobody cares about me, why I want to have good changes in my life If I don't even believe in them?" I understood that you need to give something good to this world and don't ask it to give anything back. And the miracle happened! I started to trust people, not to judge them, do nt think too much about material things, help people even when you have your own problems.I'm still working on myself and its not easy, but you know Im happier than I was before,It makes me believe in happy future, and Im sure it will come true!

I personally believe life is more about chance rather than destiny. If destiny does exist, then we're not truly as free as we think we are; we would all be mindless puppets following the orders of what we should do next. The thought of everything being all planned out for each of us just doesn't sound right to me. Accidents and changes in decisions happen to people everyday in life, and that may also affect the future dramatically. Life is all in all unpredictable and constantly fluctuating, and not everything is going to go according to plan all the time. The future is yet to be written, and only through time will our future gradually be formed. As individuals, we make our own choices that will shape and form our fate. Depending on each individual, some people don't have as much freedom and decision making as others do in certain countries. Generally speaking though, our decisions do affect our fate greatly. There was also a saying I read somewhere that said "We are all authors of our own life". Our Life is like our own book basically; it isn't until the very end of our life that it is fully complete.

I think that it's a combination of both! I'm living proof, I was supposed to die by 18 months old and even with the advances of medical science in the last 50 years, they still can't tell me why I lived. As I was an infant new born to 18 months old there was little that I could do to change the out come. But as I got older, I was able to take charge of my life to some extent. I died about 15 years ago when my daughter was born and I hemorrhaged over 21 units of blood. Again the only thing that I did that had any direct action on saving my life was going to a great hospital for pre-natal care. On the other hand I've made conscience efforts to deal with my disabilities and my depression so that has had a major effect on my life. So in my life's experiences it's a combination of the two.

Both our true. Here is how:

Our control: behavior that we engage in increases the likelihood that a consequence will occur. So, if you harass people and make them feel uncomfortable, this may cause them to react, as well as other, and make you future very negative.

Destiny: That which occurs that we have no reaction over. We don't have complete control over the reactions and behaviors of others. And, we don't have control over every single things that occurs in our life. Destiny occurs when we have no control over what caused a consequence to occur.

Do you see how both can occur now? We can engage in behavior that affects our future. But then again, there are things we don't have control over as well which also controls what happen to us. Thus, its a combination of the two which determines our future.

I believe God has a plan and purpose for our lives... a destiny if you will.... but he's not going to force us to make the right choices. Thats up to us. And that is where faith and perserverance comes into play.
There is much I could be doing right now that would take me one step closer to what I believe i'm supposed to do... but i'm not doing it... i'm not always "with it"... but somehow I do believe i'll end up where i'm supposed to be when i'm supposed to be there. If that makes any sense.

No such thing as destiny. Your future is determined by the choices in life you and others will make. Simple as that.

Be a good and descent person, treat others like you would like to be treated. You will do just fine. But, always remember, life is not fair.

Your destiny is to live and then die - how you get through these points is entirely up to you. Personality may perpetuate a "purpose" but truly, it is all you - start to finish. I say make it interesting for yourself and don't rely on standards or expectations from others to guide you. Take everything into consideration, and decide your destiny for yourself.

Doesn't sound like you're looking for answers, but nevertheless:
Being nonreligious, beliefs and miracles don't play a role in my life. Or maybe I couldn't have been this way if I didn't have a stable belief in myself and my abilities. All my life, nothing happens unless I move my butt and do it. And I'm proud of my accomplishments.

We decide on our future. Only you can plan yours, weather to be a loser or a survivor. God throws us curves to see how we'll react and how strong we are. If you choose the right path you'll be following Gods way, if not you are controlled by the devil.

That because when you said to belief and change your life style you told your mind to do that to you. no magic no nothin. plus the future would be made by the people that go through the past. if you had a time machien to the futur it would be empty because the future wasnt made up yet.
