Ok so a 2006 XL883 sportster doesn't come with a tachometer, a locking gas cap, or fuel injection. And apparently if you acctually have to worry about your volt meter it didn't come with a very good charging system either. And we already know all about the less than 50 HP twin cylinder irrigation pump that "powers" it. It bewilders me how someone could be so empty headed that they acctually pay money for this thing. And knowing how Harley works YES it would probably void your warranty.

Actually that is the best meter to put on your bike as if there are any problems, 9 times out of 10 it is the battery that is failing on a Harley. Dennis Kirk is a good place, or any on-line store. Just follow the directions for installing it and away you go, then you will know when that thing is going to stop working! That should not void your warranty.

Voltmeter, thermometer, clock and more in one unit.

Pick - Street Catalog
Go to - Index - Voltmeter - pg 367
I don't see how it could void your warranty, as new bikes are sold with aftermarket accessories all the time - light bars, air horns, alarm systems, radios, power commanders, etc.
