my finger got jammed like a few weeks ago. the swelling and bruise is completely gone but when i move my finger right to left it feels like one of my finger bones is moving. what can i do?

you might want to see a doctor about that...
other than that id suggest taking a popsicle stick or pencile etc. and taping it to that finger so that you cant move it

difficult to know how much damage to your finger or even which one without more info... but if your movement from right to left is distal away from the heart from the point of injury it probably means you have torn the connective tendons which hold your finger rigid and make straight front to back motion possible. there is also the possiblity of torn cartilage. The cartilage disconects slightly from the bone making side to side motion capable same as the torn tendon. Either way you probably don't need to worry to much the body will deepen the joint by building a cartilage cup that forms a ball and socket joint in that joint of your finger. You will have a much larger knuckle there but will have most function restored minus some strength. However if it is a thumb, index finger or the one next to it , see a physician after this long they still may be able to do some surgical reconnection, doubtfull but maybe. Don,t do the popsicle stick unless you keep your finger bent. Better to tape it to the other finger for six weeks.

you may have a fracture and see a doctor to play it safe.
