Where in Pennsylvania do I find a home?

My husband and I are looking to relocate to Pennsylvania in 7 or 8 months and need to narrow our search down. We need a decent area with plenty of entry-level jobs and lots of cheap houses (no more than $50,000). Any suggestions?

In some outlying areas maybe an hour out from Pittsburgh you can find homes in decent areas in your price range, but most of the entry level jobs are things like fast food and retail - there seem to be plenty available, though.
