i bought a new charger/usb cable,,,connected it to the computer,,now it says,,,"DO NOT DISCONNECT",,,,what`s going on,,,,please help

it always says that when you connect your ipod...it re reads your ipod everytime you plug it in...and it's charging which is why it recommends you do not disconnect

When the i-pod is being charged or for that matter even connected to the computer, the message "Do not disconnect will appear". You can 'disconnect' the i-pod using the eject button in i-Tunes. Its the buttoon next to you i-pod folder listed in i-tunes. When you eject, the device will get disconnected. Nothing to worry about the message. Just do not disconnect until you eject it thorugh i-tunes and the message will disappear.

You have to eject your iPod in iTunes. After its done syncing and everything (which again, should be indicated in iTunes), right click on your iPod in the source list and click eject. Your iPod's screen should return to normal meaning it is safe to unplug

Open your Itunes software sync your pod and then eject it.

Just disconnect it. dont worry nothing will happen!!
