I got banned from a forum for asking about mohammed and is sexual relations with his 9 year old wife. I got threatned and banned. it was on a uk forum, it was a general student forum. I got banned for being racist? muslims are not are race. Furthermore the admins ignored the abuse and threats I got.

is this fair?

I think not, I think it is appalling that abuse and threats are allowed, but asking about mohammed 9 year old wife is forbidden.

ah man thats ******* bullshit how the **** were you being racist!? you were curious and asked a question. people these days are dumb. the people who threatened you should of been banned not you. forums are meant for asking questions and what not. don't worrie you weren't wrong at all i def. agree with you.

You are dealing with unwashed, undereducated, timid, politically correct room temperature IQs. Was that enough to get me booted? That is a problem with forum, the lowest common denominator. I have seen wonderful answers to questions. Full on insight, correct to every detail, and citations provided only to be passed over for a rant by someone who shares the same political views
How to fix this? I don't know. It's their ball and they can go home at anytime.

What a lot of people fail to realize is that private businesses are, to a VERY wide degree, allowed to ban anyone they want.

They can't say "No Blacks" or "No Women", but they CAN say "No posts that might upset Muslims"

No it is not fair, and they were wrong to do it. You were asking about a historical fact. Y/A is overly politically correct, just like most people because they are worried about offending people so much that they silence conversation.
