Is it stupid to wear this to a high school basketball game?

I want to look cute because the last game I went to I felt out of place since all the girls looked dressy and I didnt. Do you think it would be dumb to wear Ugg boots and a jean skirt because last time I went I saw 3 or 4 girls with boots and they looked cute! but is that dumb? (it is 40 degrees outside at night but in the gym its pretty hot)

I dont think its dumb. It does get ht in the gym so it would be crazy wearing full on winter gear. But bring a cute light weight jacket to wear with it so you can at least be sort of warm when you step outside.Cause doing to the car you will be freezing your butts off.But, you dont have to be like all the other girls.If thats what you normally wear then wear it. But, if you normally wear cute jeans and a awesome top then wear that. If you feel like looking special since so many people are going to be there then wear earrings or eyeliner or hurry home and take a shower so you can do your hair different. You can be just as cute as the people in the skirts and the uggs by being yourself.Plus you'll be looking different then all the other girls.So you'll be looking good like them but you might stand out. For all you know a guy could come up to you cause he likes comftorable looking girls and not ones that follow the crowd by wearing skirts.

Well it is in the rules, they should have been given the tech, but then the opposing player shooting the free throws should have missed them on purpose. Same thing kinda happened in one of my high schools game. A kids dad got into a car accident and was in the hospital an hour before game. His dad told him to go to the game since he would be ok, he got to the game late and went out into the court, but that was a tech since he wasn't dressed at beginning of game. The other players knew what happened with his dad and said they refused to shoot the tech shots, but the refs forced him so he tossed the ball into the stands for his shot. That was even our rivals that did that. That's what the girl should've done. If they wanted to wear pink they shoudve worn pink shoe laces, pink wrapping around ankles, pink head bands, and anything else possible to wear. They should also have gotten approval first.

Don't worry what other people think, what do you think? Sounds like it will work with the temperature change. Try a sweater hoodie with a short sleeve or thin long sleeve shirt to balance temperature between outside and inside the gym.

I would wear it. A basketball game is long and you want to feel comfortable. Your right it is always hot in the gym so go for it.

I'm not a fan of Uggs. I would wear flats if it's hot. I wouldn't want to wear Uggs if everyone else is wearing them any way!

you should wear skinny jeans tucked into a pair of boots and a jersey/sporty style shirt. Then you will look practical (guys may hook up with girls who dress slutty and impractical but they dont have any respect for them). Try wearing big hoop earings and curling your hair to add a girly touch to your sporty outfit
