In a medical study, it was found that females are more likely to hit orgasm with an uncircumcised man:
http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html
The lubricated foreskin (on the inside... like your eyelids) slides up and down during sex and masturbation to stimulate the head (which is why you don't hear of uncircumcised guys needing lube to masturbate).
http://www.cirp.org/pages/anat/
http://net.indra.com/~shredder/intact/anatomy/index.html
Studies have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity (this article also mentions how it has lost popularity in the USA in recent times):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,285532,00.html
And despite being more sensitive, uncircumcised guys still last in the same six minute range (average) that circumcised guys do:
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1743-6109.2005.00070.x
Makes masturbation more difficult:
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06646.x
Which makes sense, that's how circumcision was promoted in the USA:
http://english.pravda.ru/science/health/27-03-2006/77873-circumcision-0
Increases erectile dysfunction rates:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=14979200&dopt=Abstract%7C
If too much skin is removed in circumcision, it can make the penis smaller since the penis needs some skin to expand during an erection:
http://drgreene.org/body.cfm?id=21&action=detail&ref=1125
http://www.altermd.com/Penis%20and%20Scrotal%20Surgery/buried_penis.htm
And ultimately, circumcision has become less common everywhere. If she ends up going through multiple relationships, chances are that you won't be the only uncircumcised one. Teach her how to use it (when the time comes) and how to enjoy it. The USA is the last developed nation to circumcise a large amount of newborns without medical or religious reasons, but even our rates have gone from almost 90% back in the 1970s to as low as 14% in some states in the past few years. I was circumcised at the ripe old age of 30. The only real con to being uncircumcised is phimosis which is the inability to retract the foreskin. This is not all that common, I just got the unlucky roll of the gene pool. I didn't have the problem when soft, but when erect there were painful moments with tearing of the foreskin leading to scaring causing more tightness and the vicious circle goes around. Topical steroid creams didn't help (didn't feel that bad apply it though so circumcision was cosmetically the best of the alternatives. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it simply because of the pain factor. The pain wasn't that bad but it wasn't pleasant either. Plus with any surgical procedure there is the chance of infection as well as the rare ooops! Unlike a haircut, too much off the top isn't growing back.
There is no difference in the amount of sensitivity once all healed up. The sensations were different but just as pleasurable and intense. As for cleanliness there is this magical new invention call soap and water that works on both the circumcised and uncircumcised penis.
In short unless there is no other alternative leave things as God made them, she knew what she was doing.

I can't think of any cons. I guess if you don't like it, then that's a con, or you don't wash, then that's a con too if it starts to smell (which would apply to a cut guy though). Also like any body part you can get foreskin problems (though these are rare and usually easily treatable).
In terms of the pros you have a more sensitive, protected glans, the foreskin which you can slide up and down, you and your female (and male?) partners likely to get more pleasure, oh and you have all your own genitals just like what you were born with, and didn't have a choice taken away from you or go through the trauma of circumcision.
It really depends what culture you're in. Circumcision is common in some cultures and they tend to believe it's good, usually for superficial reasons like "looks" or "tradition".
As for the HIV evidence like posted above, that is a theoretical benefit rather than a practical benefit. Even if there is a slight reduction in HIV acquisition in circumcised men (from women), that doesn't really have an impact on how such a man can live his life. Anyone having unsafe sex with an HIV positive person, or a person whose HIV status they don't know, is taking a huge risk. Especially if they have sex more than once. Plus HIV transmission is more common in males to males, and intravenous drug users. Basically EVERYBODY needs to be careful who they sleep with, and use condoms.

thing is each person speaks form their own knowledge which is limited to what they have experienced. So a person form an area where foreskin is almost non-existent will believe that is the way to go while thos eof us who are used to a lot of foreskin hanging about will much prefer penises with hoodies.
Thing is there is no medical reason for circumcision of most infants. It is largely religious or cultural. the foreskin does no harm yet adds to the potential for pleasure. Sure some guys have problems later in life that require removal of foreskin but that does not mean all boys shold be cut at birth. For tha tlogic begs the question as to why we don't remove the tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and all othe rparts that can fail when a boyis born too. Sor tof liek turn us all into robots so we don't have to face treatment for failed natural parts.
So, if you have a foreskin be happy and enjoy it. Also look after yoru penis and keep it clean so it will serve you well for years to come. But if yoru foreskin is long gone, you will have to make do wuith what yrou parents left you or explore restoration techniques.

I'm uncut and do not know of any cons of being uncut. All of the supposed "advantages" of circumcision are complete myths. It's natural, if the guys cleans himself (a good habit in general), it stays clean there too. is much better and lots more fun. Sensitivity is increased, there's no ugly circ scar. Need I go on? There is absolutely no need for newborn circumcision. All of the arguments supporting it are based on myths that 80%+ of the world have dismissed because they simply are not true. If you want someone to believe, believe the vast majority of the people in the world (outside of the US).

There are many pros of staying intact: greater sensitivity, better ability to give your partner an orgasm, better looks (the scar is ugly!), protection of the sensitive glans from rubbing on clothing, less chance of failure to be able to orgasm as you get a bit older, etc. Masturbation is a whole lot easier when you have a foreskin -- no lube needed. And you are spared the procedure itself, which no sane guy would want to put himself through without an urgent medical need. But maybe the best part about being intact is that you are protected from shallow twits with a circumcision fetish. Imagine all the other impossible things an airhead like that would do to annoy you!
There are no cons to being intact. Unless MAYBE if you plan to go to Africa and have sex with HIV+ prostitutes without a condom. You weren't going to do anything that silly and self-destructive, were you? I thought not. Enjoy your foreskin!

I have read some absolute rubbish on answers but the reply from Alexever has no validity what so ever, talk about a load of tripe. The incidence of male circumcision is far less today than say thirty forty years ago, Most circumcisions were done on religious grounds not for medical reasons.
If a man has a problem where his foreskin will not retract then then he will possibly need to be circumcised, providing that your personal hygiene is good there is not any problem at all.
To say that un-circumcised males and there partners have infections, it is like saying it rains upwards, it is tantamount in saying that if you have blues eyes you see better than someone who has brown eyes. ignore his answer and carry out your own research

There are many more problems caused by circumcisions than are caused by having a foreskin. It is all hype with a religious basis and no basis in the data.
I know of one case where a medical circumcision was performed on an adult. If he had gotten a second opinion he would not have sacrificed thousands of very sensitive nerve endings for no reason.
It became popular with jerk-water religious nuts in the early 20th. century because it was supposed to prevent masturbation.
If it were needed for reasons of health, the SPCA would have been demanding for years that it be done to pets and animals in the zoo. But wider heads have prevailed.
Mainly these days it is a quick $100 for the doctor who delivers the baby. Unless you are Jewish, don't have it done.

Dude there are no defineate pros and cons. the cut dudes are going to say they are better the uncut dudes are gona say they are better. So who are you going to beleve. and if you talk to a So Cal girl that doesnt know any better they will tell any dude that cut is better cause uncut is Yucky and dirty. but being uncut has nothing to do with cleanlyness or dirt disese or infections. IF a dude knows how to take care of himself like he should there are no problems the problem is if you dont wash take a bath everyday and be hygene correct you will have no problems with your body. if you dont then you will get infections pimples=infections on your face, Stink from your pits, your nuts are going to stick to the side of your leg, you butt is going to smell and your hair is goina get dirty looking. now we havent even gotten to your unit. so it is all about cleanlyness. The only real opinion your going to get is from a dude that has been uncut used his unit uncut then got cut and has now used his unit cut. i was taught at a young age to pull back on the skin and clean it everyday. the only diffrents is a dude that is cut doesnt pull back but he still needs to clean it. As far as the sexual funtion mine works and satisfys just as a cut one does.
Thats it off my soap box
