40 years ago it was called "the Bardot look" you might get ideas on how to do that if you google it. Basically its matt foundation with lots of liquid or pencil eyeliner, the unfortunate thing about trying it is, in the sunshine you tend to look like a panda, I'd save it for clubbing only.

I wish I knew. At the very least, I know that you need to start with the eyeliner on the inner rims of your eyes, or else the whole look is very raccoon and not scene at all. So be sure to use eyeliner that doesn't irritate your eyes. Sorry I don't know much more than that, but good luck in your scene makeup quest!

Buy a black eye liner, and try putting it on fairly thick, then smudging it a bit with a Q-tip. If you don't like how that looks, you can try using black eye shadow instead. You can make it look a little bit more shimmery that way if you want to. Use one of the eye shadow brush type things that has like a triangular pad at the end, so you can be precise. (sorry, I don't know the name of it, and I'm not too good at explaining things) or you could just use a Q-tip.

eye-liner *derf - thats all they really have on along with some dark eye shadow closer to the eye that fades as it comes away from the eye ; with some foundation of course; it really isnt rocket science is it?

or do you want to know how to apply eye-liner in general?

eyes liner is quite difficult to put on if you havnt had much practice but the trick it to practice and practice until you get it perfect.. its probably better achieved by using liquid eye liner, but u have to have a steady hand, put the eye liner on then the eye shadow but just practice getting it perfect :)

it looks like a bunch of heavy eyeliner would do the trick.

I often wondered what "scene" make up was.

Now, I regret the waste of my "wondering" efforts.
