it says i won a lottery from msn hotmail contest....does any one know if this is bogus. it said 25 people won. has any one else gotton an e-mail like this????

Is it too good to be true? Then it is.
Do you actually enter such a contest? If not, you didn't win it.
Does it ask for money, credit card number or similar? Then you are being scammed.

How about posting the whole text with email headers? It should be pretty amusing to pick it apart.

Anything like this should also be checked with snopes.com. They've run into every scam.

Ofcourse it is a scam. If you did not purchase a lottery ticket in Europe it is a scam.

Yes. It is most likly fake. I have won the Microsoft, Google, Pepsi and a whole bunch of other lottories. they're all fake.

If you respond to this you will be on every SPAM list in the world in very short time. IT IS A SCAM.

I get alot of emails like that and it's a way for them to steal from you. Don't fall for it.
