Wow ... last time I checked this was Q & A ~ not grammar lessons 101. Either way ... it doesn't matter Judy ... the question reads the same.
Shade? How about shades? lol I can never stick to just one. I have skin that does better with warm tones like peaches, tans, bronzes, and brown's. So I try to stick to lipsticks with those color bases. Anything with a blue base or that looks too red or pink on my lips makes me look like the Queen of Dracula! lol
Most men don't like heavy lipstick either so I try to keep it light or use glosses or lip balms most of the time! (Besides those often taste yummy!) =)

I usually wear shades of pinks and reds. I usually go for the softer of the shades so it doesn't look to much. However I add in lip gloss to highlight the shade.

Honestly, I do not wear lipstick......
Sometimes...I wear chapstick...
