First, there is no limit to the number of overtime quarters in collegiate football. the captains and head coaches come to the middle of the field for a coin toss. The visitors shall have the first choice of the coin toss. Each team is given 1 time out each quarter, and they do not carry over to the next wuarter. The winner of the toss can choose: 1, to be on offense, 2. defense or 3. the goal they wish to defend. The play are not timed. Each team gets one opportunity to score on their series of downs. The ball is put into play at the 25 yardline except for the happening of a carry over penalty. It is regular NCAA rulesfrom that point on with four downs to get a first down or score.Once the offensive team scores or the defensive team gains possession the offensive team's Opportunity ends and the defensive team then gains possession and becomes the offensive team and gets their opportunity to score. Beginning the 3rd OT period each team must attempt a 2 point conversion follow a touch down if they want the extra points. A "field goal for PAT" in the 3rd OT or Subsequent OT periods will not count as points by rule.

When a game goes to overtime, each team is given one possession from its opponent's twenty-five yard line. The team leading after both possessions is declared the winner. If the teams remain tied, overtime periods continue, with a coin flip determining the possession order and field side for each overtime, until one team leads the other at the end of the overtime. Starting with the 3rd overtime, teams must attempt a two-point conversion after they score a touchdown.

There are a few changes once you get past regulation. 1) Both teams have a chance to score(unlike the pros with the first score wins) 2) They start from the 25 yard line going into the endzone. 3) They have a choice to take either a extra point or two point conversion for the first 2 overtimes. Once it goes past the 2nd overtime they HAVE to go for the two point conversion each possession after that. Hope that is what you needed!

Coinflip determines who plays offense or defense or what end of the field each OT is played at. Most teams that win the flip choose defense, so that they know what they have to do when they get the ball.
Each team starts at the opponent's 25, and can make first downs. Play is untimed, though the play clock is active for delay of game penalties. If each team has the same score, a second OT is played, and so on and so on. From the third OT on, each team that scores a TD must go for 2 points.

1) Flip a coin like at the beginning of game.
2) Winner choose ball or direction.
3) First team starts at 25 yard line from touchdown, plays like normal until they score or turnover on downs. (25 yards to touchdown, not 75)
4) Second team then starts from their 25 yard line until they score or turnover on downs.
5) If both teams score (or don't score) the same, then it goes to 2nd overtime. (and so on...)
6) However, if teams play into 3rd overtime, then after a touchdown they must go for two-point conversion instead of kicking for the extra point. (in first two overtimes, they can choose to just kick for one point after a touchdown)

Leave the rule as it is. Tho it would be more exciting for them to do it the college way but the pro way is more professional and is about who has the most will power to lead their team to victory either by going out there and stopping the team who gets the ball first or scoring first. Those who complain the team that wins the coin toss wins the game. Well ifs thats the case make ur team win by playing D.

for the first 2 overtimes, they start u at ur own 30. with no gametime and only a shotclock, u must get to the enzone without turning the ball over on fourth down. if u dont make it and the other team does, they win the game.
and in the 3rd overtime, u must make the two points after ur touchdown or else u will loose if the other teams gets the two points
