That simply means the military overlooks the charges for the purpose of recruitment standards. This has no effect on your permanent record, and the convictions will stay.

A "Waiver" does not clear your record. It merely means that your record was considered when processing your application and the board that reviewed the waiver felt that your past record was not significant enough to prevent you from enlisting.
