No, I am a wildlife expert, especially in African wildlife. The animals would not seek revenge. Especially a buffalo and a lion. Animals can have feelings, but usually this will take in on an animal that lives on it's own. This would not occur on an animal that lives with others. Humans are the only creatures that have feelings, a concious and futuristic planning method.

Animals can retain learned behaviors, such as a buffalo running from a lion because it knows it means harm, but they do not know feelings of revenge. Animals do things out of necessity, not hate.

Wild animals don't behave like humans. Humans are intelligent. It takes intelligence to seek revenge, for any reason.
You have to be cautious watching some of these nature and wildlife shows. The majority of them today are made to be politically correct. That means using words that describe human behavior for animal behavior. Anthropomorphism.

Well I dont know about offspring in particular but I know my cat is capable of revenge. I had no idea, I thought onoly humans were like that. I was doing someting to bug her, and 2 minutes later, she looked at me starbngely, walked over to me with her mouth wide open, and bit me on the forearm. It was soooo cute!

No, only protection. If a predator's young are taken and he/she has more young, this predator will go on the hunt to aleviate the danger to the others.
Herbivores just right it off and will be more careful next time.

um, don't think so. What would be the point? They don't feel like they lost their property or anything. If they thought they owned their cubs, they'd be pretty pissed off... but they don't. Not really
