You either draw what you see or make caricatures of what you see...when I'm bored I usually doodle...and the doodling becomes art...if I am really bored I make caricatures of people in funny situations...
This most important thing is to keep drawing...

I believe you can draw an apple in front of you by pencil. And if you would like to enjoy and get some fun You can draw two eyes and and smile over the apple.

Find a picture of someone you know and draw their face using pencil. pay close attention to the negative and positive spaces. When you are done step back and look at your masterpiece and see if you would recognize that person from your drawing.

If you would limit yourself to drawing the easy stuff, perhaps you wouldn't get so bored.
Forget "easy." You will become a better artist by practicing the hard stuff. You already know how to do the easy stuff.

food is, for me at least, really easy to draw. Just doodle some cookies or a pizza.
You might get a little hungry, though X3

Instead of easy--focus on what is hard for you to do well. Practice on what needs work instead of using time doing what you're already finding easy.

Cake? Decorate it however you want. I envision one of those Carvel birthday cakes with the fancy frosting designs.
