Rash what should i do??

i have a really nasty rash on the inside of my vagina and i dont know what to do. it has a strange fish like smell and refuses to go away no matter what ointments and cream i use. sometimes in pusses and turns greenish and every one in a while the smell gets so strong that some of my coworkers begin to ask me what that funky smell is in my cubicle!!! my boyfriend hasn't seemed to notice it yet which is strange because it really is big. anyone have any idea whats wrong with me? i went to the doctor twice and he said it was just a normal side effect of the birth control i use!! I DONT THINK SOOOOOO!

go see a different doctor, that's not normal.

What you are describing is not normal and sounds like an infection. I would recommend finding another gynecologist or primary care physician to get another opinion on this and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of this doctor that you currently saw.

That's an infection--esp since you have a "fish" smell. They warn us about that. I assume you've tried monistat. Chuck the dr. and get a new one. Tell them what's going on and insist they do a culture.

It's bacterial vaginosis. I don't know what kind of treatment you need, but a bacterial infection, I would think, would need an antibiotic.

Baby, any rash in that particular area that has an odor, is dangerous, if theirs an odor then their is infection, something's wrong with your dr. if he doesn't know this and hasn't looked into the problem.
Get a new dr. and go a.s.a.p.

sounds to me like a yeast infection.
if you go to a drug store you should probably be able to pick up yeast infection treatments. they are these weird things that you basically stick up inside of you. but it WILL clean you out and it will help. i wish you the best of luck! and don't worry.. it happens to the best of us. :]
