To0 many parent's feed the garbage that Santa isn't real to their kids, thus robbing them of a little something special they could carry with them well into their adult life. A better thing to explain is how Santa is real by explaining about St. Nicholas. At the age most kids are told there is no Santa, I was told about St. Nicholas. And I was told that while he is no longer alive, Santa lives on in all of us as a spirit of giving. Thusly it is no lie to say that Santa is real because each of us are Santa and he will continue to exsist as longer as we hold him in our hearts. The same as Christ.

Most parents tell their kids that santa isnt real. My mom told me and my boyfriends mom just recently told his little sister. But most kids do have an idea by the time they are like 8 or 9.
