Well, i don't use headphones. What gets on my nerves is other people using headphones when i should have their undivided attention! Or those cell phones that stick in your ear so that the rest of the world cannot see them...and folks go around talking on their phones and i think they are talking to me and i reply...embarassing!

Yeah I am paranoid as it is and I need to hear everything. I would hate to think if someone sneaks up on me and pulled a gun and my last thought is I wish I was listening more closely

I am severly hearing impaired so quiet surrounds don't interfere with my sight.
