My CPU usage shows 100% even without any applications opened. It takes several minutes to exit out of a screen saver.
Under processes theres a process "agent.exe" that shows constant usage of CPU between 38 & 60 percent and "ISUSPM.exe" shows 30 to high 40s.
I've run spybot, virus scan & have defragged which is about the extent of my IT abilities.
Any ideas?

Hi. Here is some info on the ISUSPM.exe. http://www.file.net/process/isuspm.exe.html I would stop in the Task Manager first to see if that is the cause. This site is supposed to scan for 'agent.exe' related problems. The scan is free but I don't know if the fix is. http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/agent/

You may want to download and install the free version of the "super antispyware" program. It found things that some of the other software mentioned left behind.

You can find it at the site: http://www.superantispyware.com/

Let us know how you made out.

Try ending those processes. Look at the description to see what those processes are.
