Question

when i turn on my windows vista lap top computer
it reads a need a higher screen resolution. i am new
to computers, any assistance is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Not sure if Vista is set up the same way as XP, but:
1.Take your mouse cursor, and right-click out into an open area on your desktop.(Your desktop is the first screen you see with the icons on it)
2.Click on Properties
3.Now on the Settings tab
4.Click on the slider under Screen Resolution, hold the button down, and drag it to the right.
See if this does it!
