Same thing as one person is jealous of another person. And like to degrade and decieve others.

because people are idiots, and believe gossip and lies. They are so narrow minded, too. I am judged at a glance because my hair is blonde. I am taken and filed away into the Don't matter pile because of it. I am made fun of and laughed at, because of my appearance, after all, what blonde wears glasses? Let's just hope people change, but life goes on. and so will you.

Because in this superficial society, people are judged by how *hot* they are or how *not hot* they are. I think it's because this society places SO much emphasis on outer beauty- look at Vogue, etc. Botox, Juvederm treatments, older women getting facelifts and all of that to remain young. I have a lot of friends who are completely different and some are very attractive but all that counts to me is what's in their heart and how intelligent they are.

It is the first impulse and first impression. one cannot see the insides of people. Only when one has interactions with other can one see the inside of the other person.
I have been deceived so many times by my impulsive decisions which later come out to be wrong and then I hate them intensely.
I am a passionate lover and equally intense hater.

There are evolutionary reasons for judgments on physical appearance. People want to mate with genetically healthy people, and there are outward physical signs that contribute to help determine this.
It's not right for people to berate others and make them feel bad for their appearance. However, there exists an unavoidable attraction to beauty that's hardwired into us. There have been studies done on month old babies, showing that they strongly prefer beautiful faces and respond to them significantly better than average or unattractive ones.

Maybe because we are a visual society. When we see any overweight person some assume that person is lazy and can't control their eating habits. When we see a fit person some assume that person works out regularly. Get the picture...
