gonna have to pull the boot straps up honey. You DID have a CNA license once and I am sure you could get it again. All depends on what you want to do in your life for a career.First find that direction and then take the steps to get you going in that direction.Temp agencies will take anyone who has an address and phone OH and legally able to work in the USA. It is not easy work but it is better than nothing at all. Right now is a good time to try as retailers are looking for seasonal help. you might work hard and impress someone and they might keep you on full time after the holidays. I have worked at Mcdonalds myself in the past when I was your age. you can do anything if you put your mind to it my dear. you did it before now find that person you were before.

My mom was a house wife for 32 years and when my parents divorced she got a job in a stock room at an AMES store and she was in her 60's.

I am 26 and got my first job at 26. P.S no experience , just have a college degree.
If you are serious, and if youdon't have a college diploma, you can start going to school ,adn work part time. By the way I don't know what cna license is so if that is demanding in a job market you can start somewhere with lesser salary and work your way up.

Go back and get recertified for your CNA. You can always get a job in long term care. It's hard work but is a great way to become employed and gain confidence in yourself!!

Also you can go work as a cna while going to school for nursing. That what I did. Now i have a full time job with benefits.

You're only 24. . . I'm sure there's a job out there for you. Just be honest when you apply. I know several women who have been off the job market for 25 years and were able to land a job. Good Luck!

You can probably find a place that will help you get your CNA back. It's probably common for women to have stayed home and I doubt an employer will care. It's hard to find people for that line of work and I'll bet they will hire you. Good luck!

It is never to late to start working and you are not stupid. You can call your local careerlink center and they can help you with job readiness and with finding a job. Don't let him control you any more stand up on your own two feet and do what you need and want to do. Rise up and become stronger and learn from your experience. Good luck!

What is CNA? Is that Novell or nursing?

Everybody has to start somewhere. Keep trying, and someone will hire you. You might not make the $$$ that you want right away, but with experience, that will follow.

Try and go for the hospitality industry - they are always looking for waiters/dishwashers etc - unfortunately you have to start with crappy jobs, and work your way up.

Waitering pays well, and isn't too difficult, and employers are always willing to train you up.

Go back and take some refresher course. All parts of the medical field is in high demand. They won't turn you down.

Cant go wrong with Walmart.. Just to get you started, you know? If they see you worked somewhere, you could much easier get a 'real' job.
